Raquel Robinson is a skilled marketing and operations professional with over 6 years in the venture firm and start-up world. She is enthusiastic and innovative, with hands-on experience building a community network through leveraging data, programming, and marketing. She started her career at the Hillman Accelerator, where she helped to design and implement a curriculum for startups that has now guided founders to raise more than $100MM in funding. She then served as the Head of Marketing for another startup, the Home Team.

Currently, Raquel serves as the Director of Programming at Lightship, where she leads programming operations and marketing initiatives focusing on strategic planning. Lightship is an impact-driven organization serving overlooked entrepreneurs and ecosystems that leverages corporate partnerships, specialized programming, meaningful mentorship, and capital investments to drive growth within the minority innovation economy. In addition to her role at Lightship, she is the Head of Digital and Marketing for the renowned Black Tech Week conference.

In her spare time, Raquel serves as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters and a facilitator for YEP, a program designed to empower youth. She also serves on the board of the Building Momentum Conference powered by Standard Business School.
